LUTheatre presents King Lear
Thu 06 December 2018 19:00-22:00
An old King divides his kingdom between his daughters according to how much they say they love him. His favourite daughter refuses to flatter him, so he banishes her. Lear’s right-hand man Gloucester is betrayed by his illegitimate son Edmund and they’re both sent on a whirlwind of regret, torment and hubris. 'King Lear' explores the bonds of family and the dynamic of power.
You can pick up refreshments and tickets from 19:00 on any of the nights, and doors open at 19:30!
