\nIn collaboration with the University\, we are c
reating a safe space for Black students to share their experiences at the
University of Leicester\, with the aim of constructively improving their
time\, through the addressing of issues around inclusivity\, education\,
facilities\, training\, support\, and more.
\n\nWe are using the w
ord Black to be interpreted as those of African and Caribbean heritage\,
rather than politically Black.
\n\nSession Focus: Postgradu
ate Student Experience
\n\nWe are looking for a minimum of
8 students to join per session\, with the addition of representatives fr
om key stakeholder societies and course/school reps. You do not have to c
ommit to every session\, only 1! Find the session focus that you feel is
right for you!
\n\nSnacks and drinks will be provided and you will
get a passport stamp for society members who join.
