Join AstRoSoc at one of our observatory nights! Please meet us at Olive Banks in The Village\, where we'\;ll have a presentation\ , quiz and snacks\, followed by a short \;walk over to the observator y! We welcome all students\; undergrads\, postgrads\, whatever the subjec t\, so please don'\;t be shy!

Our observatory contains a 20- inch aperture telescope\, which we use to explore the night sky! We look at different objects each observatory night\, depending on which celestia l objects are in the sky.

\n\n

You don'\;t need to bring anything with you\, but we recommend wearing warm clothes\, as it can get cold in side the observatory. Please note that we are at the mercy of the ever-ch anging \;British weather\, and those white fluffy things in the sky c an get in the way of our observing!!
