Whether yo u&rsquo\;re moving to Leicester \;for the first \;time\, a commut er\, a postgrad\, a mature student\, an international student\, a distanc e \;learner\, a student-parent or someone who just isn'\;t sure wh ere to start - this is your week!
With that said\, if you consider yourself to have a disability\, long term health condition or chronic ill ness and require support accessing our events\, let one of our staff at o ur pop-up reception know when you get here. \;

The Sunf lower lanyard/ hidden disabilities sunflower is a visible sign that the w earer may have a non-visible disability\, condition or chronic illness. W earing a sunflower lanyard allows the wearer to signal that they may need a little help\, understanding or time. You can get yours online or for free in-person at the Highcross Sh opping Centre. \;

Nimbus or access cards translates disability or impairments into easy -to-understand symbols on a handy card which can be used to convey access requirements by the card holder. You can order one here.

During Freshers Week we will have a pop-up reception at the entr ance of the Percy Gee building. Come and see us (ideally with your Sunflo wer lanyard or Nimbus/Access cards) if you have any needs and our colleag ues will be more than happy to help. \;
