A major student-led event is coming up, giving you the chance to step into the role of a global delegate and directly influence the future of climate policy.
The Students' Union Sustainability Council is hosting its own Mock COP 2025, mirroring the international COP-30 negotiations taking place in Brazil.
This is an opportunity for students to come together and engage with the vital theme of Planetary and Community Stewardship.
What to expect
Students are invited to sign up to represent a country of their choice in a high-stakes roleplay scenario. The goal is to collaborate and negotiate a new climate agreement that is even stronger and more impactful than the 2015 Paris Accords.
Participants will be fully briefed on what to expect, ensuring you have all the information needed to represent your chosen nation effectively.

Taking part is a fantastic way to develop your public speaking, negotiation, and leadership skills. You will also gain practical knowledge about global sustainability issues and, most importantly, have fun. Plus, there are prizes available for the top delegates!
