Job Title: Lead Mentor

The Peer Mentoring Department are recruiting Lead Mentors for the 2019/20 academic year. We are looking specifically for students from the School of History, Politics and International Relations, Media, Communication and Sociology, School of Arts and Biological Sciences. This is an exciting opportunity for you to develop your leadership, interpersonal and support skills whilst making a difference to the lives of your fellow students.
As a Lead Mentor you will be expected to:
- Collaborate with the Peer Mentoring Team in organising and delivering welcome events. Act as an ambassador for the scheme.
- Deliver signposting information to both Mentors and Mentees.
- Supervise Peer Mentoring promotional stalls. Assist in recruitment of Mentors for the 2020/21 academic year.
You will need to be passionate about the Scheme and have a willingness to proactively engage with other students. Furthermore, you will be expected to complete the mandatory Peer Mentor training.
To apply for this role you must be a student of the University of Leicester in the 2019/20 academic year.
