Summary of Covid-19 Guidance for Societies & Sports Clubs
From 17 May 2021
- Society and Sports Club activity can take place on campus and you may now request rooms on campus using our Room Bookings Form.
- The group size must not exceed 30 people or the stated COVID-19 compliant capacity of the room and must take place in a COVID secure environment.
- In all events, social distancing must take place, face coverings must be worn unless exempt and sanitisation must be encouraged.
- All activity delivered must be covered in your Master Risk Assessment and the additional COVID-19 Risk Assessment submitted in September/October 2020.
- Society and Sports Club activity can take place off campus.
- These activities must be compliant to the Government’s guidance and individual venue guidance. If this cannot happen they must not be delivered.
- All activity delivered must be covered in your Master Risk Assessment and the additional COVID-19 Risk Assessment submitted in September/October 2020
- Sport is allowed to continue to be delivered in line with National Governing Body Guidance.
- Any Team Leicester clubs resuming activity indoors will need to ensure that their Risk Assessments have been updated to adhere to their sport's NGB guidance for indoor sport. This updated Risk Assessment will need to be approved by your Sport and Active Life club development contact before any indoor activity can resume
- Society and Sports Clubs are not permitted to travel internationally
