Awards and Accreditation

Did you know you could be recognised for volunteering?

If you're taking part in a volunteering opportunity with our partnered organisations OR partnered RAG charities, you can actually log your hours towards our Students' Union community volunteering awards!

We have a 50 hour, 100 hour and 200 hour award, available to any student who logs their volunteering hours on the volunteering portal.

The criteria is:

  • The hours must have been achieved during a Community, Student-Led, SU or RAG volunteering project.
  • They must be hours spent volunteering for a registered volunteering opportunity on our systems.

Do you volunteer for an organisation who aren't on our systems? Drop us an email on to register them,

It's easy, quick, and gives you recognition when you graduate!

We ask you to log your hours, add in the skills you've gained, and reflect on your time volunteering. In return, we recognise your achievements throughout the year, and provide you with a printable skills record and Students' Union accredited certificates recognising your awards by the end of your time here.
