Did you know you could be recognised for volunteering?
If you're taking part in a volunteering opportunity, you can actually log your hours towards our Students' Union accredited Volunteering Awards!
We have 25 hour, 50 hour, 100 hour and 150 hour awards, available to any student who logs their volunteering hours on the online volunteering portal.
Please note: You're welcome to use the portal to log any volunteering that you do, but in order to count towards the Awards, the hours must have been achieved through an approved Student-Led or Students' Union project, or a registered volunteering opportunity on our Volunteering Portal.
Do you volunteer for an organisation who we aren't partnered with? Maybe you're not sure if your volunteering will count towards the awards? Drop us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to ensure you still get recognition.
It's easy, quick, and gives you recognition when you graduate!
We ask you to log your hours, add in the skills you've gained, and reflect on your time volunteering. In return, we recognise your achievements throughout the year, and provide you with a printable skills record and Students' Union accredited certificates recognising your awards by the end of your time here.
Deatils on how to log hours and skills can be found below...
