Pronouns
Pronouns are the way in which we identify or refer to someone (I, He, She, We, Hers, They) and for the majority of people their physical sex does align with their gender and therefore the pronouns people use are not a problem. However for some this is not the case and therefore using the wrong pronouns can be hurtful and disrespectful. In emails you may refer use pronouns to address people, and therefore it important to get them right – by adding our pronouns into our signatures, it makes it clearer to people we are communicating with how we would like to addressed.
