I’m Natalie, and I’m the Distance Learning Officer for 25/26. I’m a distance learning student, studying Ancient History and Classical Archaeology MA, and I completed my BA in summer 2025 via distance learning too.
My job, overall, is to improve the experience of distance learning students during their time at Leicester. This can range from improving community, holding online events or asking for others to be hybrid, increasing distance learners’ visibility across the Students’ Union, and advocating for them at wider university meetings.
