SU Orientation Day - January Welcome

Welcome to Leicester Students’ Union!

We’re super excited to welcome you as one of our new students starting in January 2026.

We are an empowering, innovative and inclusive student-led Union championing your interests and providing a community that is home away from home.

University life offers a truly unique experience, filled with wonderful people and exciting opportunities. And as the Students' Union, we are dedicated to ensuring that each of our 20,000+ students begins an exceptional journey to be part of a community where all students are empowered to thrive, belong and succeed.

To help you start this journey, we’re hosting an SU Orientation Day for all January starters:

📅 Date: Saturday, 17 January 2026

📍 Location: Percy Gee Building, main campus

🕚 Time: 11am – 4pm

🍴 Light snacks provided

This is your chance to:
✅ Meet fellow new students
✅ Enjoy fun games, group activities, and refreshments
✅ Grab some freebies
✅ Connect with current postgraduate students who will guide you throughout the day
