Last Friday’s DL Day was one of our most vibrant and engaging events yet, drawing more than 40 students from three different schools! What made the day truly special was the international spread of our students — we welcomed attendees who travelled in from Switzerland 🇨🇭, Portugal 🇵🇹, Iceland 🇮🇸, the Netherlands 🇳🇱, Austria 🇦🇹, Texas 🇺🇸, and from every corner of the UK 🇬🇧
It was such a great community atmosphere as students met peers they’d only seen online or spoken to in passing. Workshops and activities throughout the day offered space for collaboration and meaningful engagement — by the afternoon, phone numbers were being swapped across tables, and many students were already making plans for after the event!
The success of DL Day is thanks to everyone who contributed, attended, volunteered, presented, or simply popped by to support. Your enthusiasm shaped the event into something special and genuinely memorable 🙌 Big shout out to our Distance Learning Officer Natalie Hayward for helping to organise such a great event!
We’re already looking forward to doing it bigger and even better next year 💛✨
