Welcome to Leicester Medics' Badminton Club:

Leicester Medics' Badminton is a friendly club that welcomes players of all abilities, so even if you've never picked up a badminton racket before or you just want a way back into sport, this is your opportunity!

We have a strong member base attending sessions each week. For those looking to learn and improve we have experienced players that are always happy to offer coaching and advice.

The club also participates in various competitions such as the annual NAMS competition, Varsity with Nottingham and other friendly matches. We also host regular socials and have regular Sunday matches as part of the intramural league!

Sessions:

  • Saturdays: 12:30AM - 2PM at Regent's College (30 second walk from Centre for Medicine)
  • Mondays: 6:00PM - 7:00PM at Regent's College??


Matches:

  • Every Sunday at the Roger Beetles Sports Centre  (on main campus - 5 minute walk from Opal Court)
  • NAMS in November/December
  • Varsity in March against Nottingham 


Socials:

  • Throughout the year we have regular socials (drinking and non-drinking) organised by our amazing social sec Ben! 
  • So even if your hand eye coordination isn't the best you can still join us as a social member and be part of this amazing team!

Student Group Main Elections 26.27

Welcome to the 26/27 Student Group Elections. Please note before nominating that manifestos are compulsory for your nomination to be eligible! There is a minimum word count of 10 and anybody without a manifesto will be disqualified. Guidance on writing a manifesto can be found below. All nominees and voters must have a 25/26 membership to the student group. If you need help deciding on which role to go for or if you are unsure on the responsibilities of the role, please check the role descriptions document below.
