Overview

The Young Professionals Society is an organisation dedicated to fostering professional developmet, networking, and skill-building among students. Through workshops, guest speaker events, and informal events, we aim to prepare our members for successful careers in their chosen fields. We collaborate with various companies, including Charles Russell Speechlys, Bird & Bird, Deloitte, PwC, and Barclays, to name a few, to provide oppourtunities. We also have exclusive graduate roles which are only avaliable to members of The Young Professionals Society.

Student Group Main Elections 26.27

Welcome to the 26/27 Student Group Elections. Please note before nominating that manifestos are compulsory for your nomination to be eligible! There is a minimum word count of 10 and anybody without a manifesto will be disqualified. Guidance on writing a manifesto can be found below. All nominees and voters must have a 25/26 membership to the student group. If you need help deciding on which role to go for or if you are unsure on the responsibilities of the role, please check the role descriptions document below. If you have any questions, please email unionactivities@le.ac.uk

Nominations close at 12:00 on Monday 23 March 2026 (in 4 days and 21 hours)

The polls open at 12:00 on Thursday 26 March 2026 (in 7 days)
