Competition & Training

BUCS: Both Men’s and Women’s sections field 1st and 2nd teams for Wednesday matches.

Club Hockey: We partner with Leicester Hockey Club (LHC) to provide additional training and weekend matches in the Midlands League.

Multisport: Beyond the pitch, we compete in the University’s Netball Campus League (24/25, 25/26 placed 5th out of 16).

Varsity: Every year the club takes on DMU Hockey to decide who should take the crown, and every year UOLHC wins!

Weekly Socials: Themed Wednesdays and joint events with other Team Leicester societies.

Special Events: Charity tournaments and events, Tigers games, climbing sessions, pub quizes, annual club fundraiser and end of season Hockey Ball.

Annual Highlights: Every year ULLHC head to the Bournemouth 7s (B7s) festival for an unforgettable weekend of hockey and more and ULMHC head abroad for a club tour and holiday.

- Mon 21:00 - 22:00 (Oadby)
- Tue 18:45 - 20:30 (Leicester Grammar School with Leicester Hockey Club)
- Fri 20:00 - 22:00 (Oadby)
Ladies:
- Mon 20:00 - 21:00 (Oadby)
- Thurs 19:00 - 20:30 (Leicester Grammar School with Leicester Hockey Club)
- Fri 20:00 - 22:00 (Oadby)
Team Leicester and UOLHC Memberships
- N.B. Team Leicester and Club Memberships do not need to be bought until part way through October so new players have time to experience the club and meet everyone before committing fully.
Full Membership Cost: £50
- (Under the product tab on this page)
- This membership type is neccessary for active players within the club - must be bought in tandem with a Team Leicester membership.
Social Membership Cost: £10
- This membership covers non-competors but those who still want to participate in the club more generally!
- For Saturday League hockey, a £6 match fee must be paid for every Saturday game played with LHC, either through bank transfer or cash on the day
