We are one of the largest student groups in Leicester, offering a friendly space to meet new people and play badminton. Whether you’re a complete beginner or a national standard, come along to see what we have to offer you!

We currently have a squad of 4 teams (3 men's and 1 women's team) and compete in weekly BUCS fixtures on Wednesdays and the Leicestershire badminton league.
- We have 2 level two coaches who can help improve your game if you want to, or you can ask your fellow players.
- We hold a wide range of drinking and non-drinking socials throughout the year including the classic Walkabout followed by the infamous O2 EVERY WEEK!
- You can join any time in the year, not just during freshers week.
- If you want to keep fit, meet new people and have a blast then we are the club to join!
- Inclusive & beginner-friendly – Everyone’s welcome, no experience needed.
- Meet new people – Make friends and find your next doubles partner.
- Learn & improve – Get tips from experienced players during games, play alongside BUCs team players.
- Stay active & de-stress – A fun way to keep fit and take a break from studies since university can be stressful and challenging.

You can have a free taster session before deciding to join us or you can just sign up today!
- Team Leicester/Gym membership is required to join the BUCS team.
- Club registration: £40 (Social) or £45 (BUCS team).

- Sunday: 11:00 am - 12:00 pm @ Charles Wilson Sports Centre TEAM AND SOCIAL.
