We represent over 20,000 students, and we recognise the diverse communities that make up the student body.
We are empowered to be data and research driven in our decision making to make sure all students thrive, belong and succeed at Leicester.
Over the Academic Year, we conduct various research activities, including surveys and focus groups, that represent the student voice on numerous topics and key areas. Our main survey is LeicsChat, and usually takes place in every November. From this we can dissect what our students want, alongside the other forms of feedback including SSC’s and Academic Rep forums.
The answers and feedback you provide helps us to promote the student voice and lobby the University for change that will then improve the student experience for all.
In this section, you will be able to see all current research that is currently happening, past research that we have conducted and how to ask for research to be requested. There are also various links to current surveys and focus groups you can be a part of and help share your views about the student experience
