Morning Session: Keynote Talks & Career Panel

Kick off the day with a series of insightful short talks from leading figures in prehospital care across the East Midlands. Our speakers will share their experiences from the frontline, discuss innovative practices, and highlight the evolving landscape of prehospital and emergency medicine.

Following the talks, engage in a live panel Q&A session, where you’ll have the chance to ask questions about:

  • Career pathways in prehospital and emergency medicine

  • Building a competitive portfolio

  • Tips for students, junior doctors, and paramedics

Afternoon Session: Hands-On Practical Workshops

In the afternoon, put theory into practice with small-group, hands-on workshops including:

  • Surgical Airway Management – Learn and practise essential emergency airway techniques

  • POCUS (Point-of-Care Ultrasound) – Get hands-on with ultrasound scanning used in trauma and emergency settings

  • And More – Additional skills stations covering critical procedures and decision-making in high-acuity environments

All workshops are led by experienced clinicians passionate about education and skill development.
