The NSS Results are in.

The NSS results are in—and we've done it again!

We've seen another year of improvement, continuing the positive momentum we've built since 2023 and reinforcing our commitment to delivering the best for our students.

We’ve gathered some highlights and wanted to thank you for rating us so positively in the Students’ Union and Student Voice theme:

• Students' Union positivity has risen above 80% for the first time, reflecting growing confidence in the support and representation provided to students.

• For the third year running, the ‘Student Voice’ theme has been recognised among the Top 20 institutions nationally, reflecting our strong commitment to listening to students and acting on their feedback in partnership with the University.

• 90% of students agreed they have the right opportunities to share feedback on their course, demonstrating strong engagement and academic support.

• Classics (Ancient History), Radiography, Physiotherapy and Health Sciences ranked the Students’ Union in the top five nationally for overall positivity for representing their academic interests.

We couldn't be happier with these results and would like to thank our student community for their feedback, engagement, and trust. A special thank you goes to our Student Voice team, whose proactive work and dedication to enhancing the student experience have contributed to these fantastic achievements.

We'll continue working hard with students and the University to identify opportunities for improvement, ensuring every student has the best possible experience and an even stronger voice in shaping their education and driving meaningful change.

* There is no longer a single question in the NSS that covers the overall view of students so, in line with the THE 2025 methodology, this is the average positivity score for questions 1-26 of the NSS ranked within UUK member providers.
