The LUSUMA Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Neonatal Society is a student-led society that provides networking opportunities for aspiring O&G clinicians and those from other specialties, while supporting members’ professional and personal development. The society is committed to raising awareness around gaps in Women’s Health research and engaging with the wider community.

In the 2025/2026 academic year, we aim to deliver termly talks with O&G specialists🩺, launch our first annual conference🤩, and run a dedicated teaching series with opportunities for discussion and poster presentations. Alongside these academic activities, we will organise charity talks, fundraising events🍰, and volunteering initiatives in collaboration with relevant organisations.
