We work closely with brands and local businesses to create competitions where the winner gets to market for the client. This is not only a great way to make connections within the business world, but also gain CV-worthy experience and meet new people.

Our Marketing Society is a space for students who want to explore marketing in a practical, supportive, and engaging way. Alongside regular socials, we offer opportunities to learn key marketing skills, hear from industry professionals, and gain hands-on experience working on real projects.
A core part of the society is our three flagship schemes, where members can take part in marketing competitions designed to reflect real-world work. Through these competitions, students work in teams to create and present marketing campaigns for local businesses, student-managed businesses, and other societies. This allows members to gain meaningful experience, develop confidence, and build evidence of real marketing work they can use in applications and interviews.
