The UoL Concert Band is a fun and friendly ensemble which invites all musicians to perform your favourite music in a relaxed and welcoming environment. We rehearse on campus and aim to showcase our work at multiple performances a year, such as our end of term concerts and our campus Christmas events.
We play music of varying difficulty, ranging from a large repertoire of scores from stage and screen. Everyone is welcome, though we do recommend players are able to read music to ensure you get the most out of our group! If you're not sure of your ability; come along and have a go - we can always adapt parts to suit you.
Our group is a Concert Wind Band; principally for those who play woodwind, brass and percussion. Not sure whether your instrument is suitable for a concert band? Feel free to get in touch and ask us which ensemble is best for you!
Please contact us via email or Instgram if you have any questions, we'll also be happy to chat at the fresher's fair in September - so come and speak to us!
