Welcome to the Pan-African Law Society (PALS)!
PALS was founded in 2014 under the vision of “Law for Development”. Our mission is to broaden accessibility to the legal profession for African and Afro-Caribbean students in Leicester. Your time at University is a great time for you to grow holistically; our society is predicated on developing its members socially, academically and professionally.
Considering a career in law can feel daunting – particularly without the connections or knowledge on how to establish one. Our goal is to support African and Afro-Caribbean students who plan to practice law in the UK or internationally – and to provide you with community while doing so. This year, we plan to run a host of events, socials and workshops that will enrich your time at Leicester and prepare you for life afterwards!
Become a member, follow us on our socials to stay up to date with all our amazing events!
