Our primary goal is to share Iranian/Persian culture and promote a sense of community for Iranians and anyone else in Leicester, allowing them to partake in a range of activities to promote inclusivity and diversity. Anyone is free to join as we focus on spreading culture and multiculturalism with events, food and social gatherings.
Our Aims:
To share Persian/Iranian culture
Promote diversity and inclusivity
Assist the University of Leicester in being as multicultural and inclusive as possible
To give those interested in Persian culture, food and media the opportunity to experience it personally
To allow Iranians at Leicester to connect more with their culture
And just to overall have fun in a safe and accepting environment!
Welcome to the 26/27 Student Group Elections. Please note before nominating that manifestos are compulsory for your nomination to be eligible! There is a minimum word count of 10 and anybody without a manifesto will be disqualified. Guidance on writing a manifesto can be found below. All nominees and voters must have a 25/26 membership to the student group.
