Welcome to the Uol Somsoc! 

The University of Leicester Somali Society provides a platform where Somali students can feel safe and welcome. 

Our events and activities are designed to be broad in scope, including networking to develop professionally, fundraising for Somalia, engaging the local Somali community and advocating for tolerance, peace and unity. We try to help each other in all aspect of living and studying at university.

We also work with different societies on campus and nationally to promote social, intellectual and religious activities.
