Who are we?
We are the Leicester Longhorns. Join the stampede. Whether you've played before or never even looked at an American Football field, we want you.
We are motivated, driven and determined to go all the way to the championship final this year, and we need you to achieve this goal. Join our brotherhood of 40+ players, where you will get the chance to experience the thrill of American football first-hand in a highly competitive BUCS environment. Come to our give-it-a-go session on the 27th of September and find out what position is your calling! We can make you into the player you want to be, whether it's wide receiver, linebacker or running back; our expert coaches will aid and support you throughout your journey with us. Playing American football at the university level is a direct pathway to playing nationally or even internationally, as some of our very own will tell you first-hand. If you're a die-hard fan or have never even seen pads before, we want you on board!

We have an exceptional coaching staff with many playing for and coaching the Leicester Panthers American Football team. Our Coaches all come from different positional backgrounds ensuring that each position gets the best training possible and ensures that each part of the team can be focused on and polished into a truly cohesive unit.
Off the Pitch
Off the pitch, our social sec will organise weekly socials (both alcoholic and non), with Wednesday being our main themed social nights, usually ending at LetsDisko. There will also be plans to watch CFB and NFL games as a team, with the Super Bowl watch party being one of our biggest events of the year.
As training starts and we get towards the start of the season, our Player development sec will start putting together days for team conditioning or Gym sessions by your positional group to help with bonding as a squad and ensure we're becoming the best for our team. There will also be film sessions in order to assess our game film and to help everybody improve their skills.

Fees
(In order to join any Team Leicester sports society, the team registration fee must be paid AND one of either the Team Leicester Membership OR the Student Gold Membership must be purchased.)
Registration: £40.
Team Leicester Membership ONLY: £116 - Gives you access to Team Leicester, allowing you to compete in BUCS Fixtures.
Gold Early Bird (must be purchased by 11/10/26): £173 - Gives access to gym, pool, sauna, steam, spa, group fitness classes, courts, pitches, tennis courts, BUCS UNIversal, access to Team Leicester.
Gold Membership: £208 - gives access to gym, pool, sauna, steam, spa, group fitness classes, courts, pitches, tennis courts, BUCS UNIversal, access to Team Leicester.
