Leicester Panthers is one of the largest and most successful clubs on campus, with over 100 members and numerous Grand and National Champion Titles. We have 10 teams which include Hip Hop, Pom, Lyrical, Stunt, Full Routine and a Development Team. We pride ourselves in offering places to everyone regardless of ability (in fact, most of our members start with no previous cheerleading experience!).
Cheerleading has been growing rapidly in popularity in the UK over the past few years, and as a club we are so excited to be able to offer everyone the chance to fall in love with the sport at University. When you join Panthers you are joining an inclusive and supportive family; we will support you to grow in all aspects of your life, whether that be academically, personally or as an athlete. We will also equip you with transferable skills for after you graduate and beyond, and you will grow in confidence.
Our competitive teams attend national competitions during the year, and our performance team is being rebranded this season and will be performing at BUCS games, university events and varsity! Additionally, at the end of the year we host our annual Showcase where we perform our routines to our friends and families. Our social calendar is very vibrant and we hold a variety of events throughout the year such as: Christmas Dinner, Alumni Ball, Summer Tour, Cheer Awards and MORE!

Members are also required to purchase a uniform, competition bow, and cheer shoes (range in price but the club will recommend options).
