Pay the Placement Campaign- have your say on unpaid placement hours

If you're a healthcare student, you already know what placements really cost - the early mornings, the travel, the uniforms, the exhaustion. And all of that on top of tuition fees, with zero pay for the hours you put in.

That's exactly what the Pay the Placement campaign is fighting to change.

Leicester Students' Union is proudly backing this national campaign, led by Essex Students' Union, which is pushing Parliament to consider paying nursing, midwifery and healthcare students for their placement hours. And we need your help to make it happen.
