If you are new to the University, or if you don't know much about Leicester's history, or simply wish to immerse yourself in the language you are studying, this is a great opportunity to learn about the city’s captivating past and some of the characters that have left their mark here, while visiting some of its most remarkable places in town.

The one and a half hour historic walk will start and end at Jubilee square (Leicester City Centre LE1 5LB). Each walk will be led by one of our language tutors who will tell you all they know about Leicester's History, while visiting six key places located within the historic quarters of the city. The walks are delivered in a mixture of the target language and English.

You are welcome to ask questions and take pictures. The walk is not long (around 90 minutes), but we would suggest bringing comfortable shoes and an umbrella, just in case. There will be 1 group per language limited to 20 participants per group.

Book for FREE place by clicking here.
