Calling all Distance Learning students! We are thrilled to announce the launch of our first online book club dedicated for distance learning students, where the joy of reading knows no boundaries! Our book choise is the timeless classic, "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens. As we gear up for the festive season, what better way to get into the holiday spirit than by diving into this heart-warming tale of redemption and the true meaning of Christmas?

We will discuss:

  • What themes stood out to you in the story?
  • Which characters resonated with you the most, and why?
  • How does the message of "A Christmas Carol" relate to our lives today?
  • Share your favourite quotes and moments from the book.

"Let's come together in the spirit of community, even if we're miles apart. We can't wait to embark on this literary adventure with you. Get ready for a cosy, virtual gathering filled with insights, laughter, and the magic of Dickens' classic tale." Sheeba Asad, Distance Learning Part-Time Officer 2023-4.

Happy reading and see you on November 30th!
