Just as the United Nations is coming together for their annual meeting about climate emissions, COP29, we will be doing the same at Leicester!
Organised by the Students' Union's Sustainability Network, our Mock COP will be taking place on 20th November 2024, 1-5pm in Ken Edwards Lecture Theatre 1.
We are inviting students to roleplay as a country of their choice, to come up with a climate agreement better than the current global standard, the Paris Climate Accords.
This is a great opportunity for you to learn more about sustainability, develop skills such as diplomacy and win prizes such as food vouchers and merchandise.
