Join Astrosoc on the morning of Tuesday 25 October to observe the partial eclipse of the Sun.
We will be in Centenary Square from 9:30am with equipment that will enable you to view the Sun safely during the eclipse.
Bring a cardboard box to make your own box projector to view the eclipse safely (we will be providing the rest of the equipment).
NEVER LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE SUN EXCEPT THROUGH A PROPERLY CERTIFIED SOLAR FILTER AS PERMANENT EYE DAMAGE MAY OCCUR. SUNGLASSES ARE NOT CONSIDERED SAFE.
