Join us in our weekly choir practice, all skill levels and genres are welcome, and encouraged!
Chorus is a wonderful place to let your voice shine, learn to sing, and potentially learn to dance along the way! We have members across the different courses and professions, so you're guaranteed to find people you gel with.
Practices happen every Monday between Seven and Nine PM (19:00-21:00) in the Ken Edwards building, Lecture Theatre 1. These are chill sessions where we sing musical theatre, pop music, traditional choir songs, and carols towards the end of the year. We do offer various OPTIONAL performances throughout the year, such as singing in the Deavonshire Court Retirement Home for the elderly, on campus events, and sometimes in the shops! These are excellent ventures for singers looking to perform, as well as to raise money for charity, and the society. We are always looking for more singing/performing opportunities to give our members and so are very open to any song/venue/event ideas. (such as a music festival in Italy we have been invited to).
There are no physical, skill, or age requirements to join, we accept anyone and everyone who wants to sing!
So if you are of any musical persuasion, come on down to Chorus, we would love to have you :)
