Whether you're interested in gaining valuable experience for a future career in journalism or media, you have a love for writing, or you simply want your voice heard on campus, becoming a member of Leicester Student Magazine society gives you the ability to write about the things you care about. After operating online for a year, we are also looking to expand into other forms of media, including print and podcasting.
No previous experience is necessary! We are looking for keen writers to contribute to our website available online at leicesterstudent.com in News, Arts & Culture, Lifestyle and Opinion, as well as fiction, poetry, interviews and Feature pieces. On top of constructive feedback and guidence from our editorial team with developing ideas, members will be invited to all of our various socials, trips and talks from industry professionals.
