We can't wait to see you at our GIAG combat training session! We will cover all the basics of competitive and show fighting using medival style weapons. We take your saftey very seriously and so will train you on how to be safe whilst having fun and looking good with a sword! We meet 12pm - 4pm, so make sure you bring some lunch and water with you (we will be having many breaks!), and wear clothes you are comfortable to move in (jeans are a ok as long as you are comfortable to do short runs in them). We know four hours sounds like a long time, but there is no pressure to stay until the end, and you'd be surpised how much the time flies when you're running around with a sword!
The field can be a bit tricky to find the first time, so here is a handy dandy map! If you get lost, feel free to drop a message in the discord server (link on our su page), or DM us on instagram (@uol_reenactment_society) and we will make sure you find your way there.
