Listen up Jesters! Jestival is back and better than ever!
Jestival is our very own home tournament that we host in the summer, it is a loose mixed fun outdoor tournament. We're looking to take a huge team of as many Jesters as possible, regardless of however much, you played last year (so no pressure).
We are here for a good time. Our main goal is to get back into the swing of things and start to shake off the rust for the start of next year (so have your cans of WD40 at the ready). Also, it will be a great opportunity to see everyone again and to, fortunately, say goodbye to some of the retiring Jesters.
We have set the theme this year as a village fete, with the idea we can have a few small mini-games (like hook a duck or splat the rat) to raise money for the ‘Be More Oli’ fund which was set up by the local club team to help get young people into frisbee and also nightline to support mental health.
And, you'll be glad to hear (especially you Freddie) that there will be a massive fucking piss-up... We have hi-jacked the 'private suite' of Firebug in the toon so should be in for a good night.
We will be sorting accommodation for the other teams so if anyone needs a place to stay it should be sorted, or I'm sure between us all in Leicester there should be plenty of space to use someone else's house.
It would be great to see as many here as possible so please come along and we promise it will not disappoint (blame Jacob if it does).
