In our first British University Championships (BUCs) as a sports society representing UOL, we placed 4th overall. We had quite a few podiums between us, as well as many debuts on the national university league scene.

Overall, we came 4th in Britain. This was accomplished by 7 amazing lifters: Dani Laivins, Shalom Ajewole, Kurt Alibusa, Rufaro Chikwanda, Princess Kunadu, Subiksha Anand and Ayonla Oyinloye.
Individual placings were as follows:

- In the U52KG class, Rufaro placed 1st with lifts as follows:
-Squat: 132.5KG
-Bench: 65KG
-Deadlift: 170.5KG
Total: 368KG

-In the U59KG class, Kurt placed 1st with lifts as follows:
-Squat: 193.5KG
-Bench: 125KG
-Deadlift: 207.5KG
Total: 526KG

In the U76KG class, Princess placed 1st with lifts as follows:
-Squat: 160KG
-Bench: 102.5KG
-Deadlift: 210.5KG
Total: 473KG

Also in the U76KG class, Dani placed 5th with lifts as follows:
-Squat: 170KG
-Bench: 82.5KG
-Deadlift: 157.5KG
Total: 410KG
In the 84+KG Class, Subiksha placed 2nd with lifts as follows:
-Squat: 187.5KG
-Bench: 77.5KG
-Deadlift: 177.5KG
Total: 442.5KG

In the U83KG class, Ayonla placed 2nd with lifts as follows:
-Squat: 277.5KG
-Bench: 157.5KG
-Deadlift: 285KG
Total: 720KG
In the U93KG class, Shalom placed 17th with lifts as follows:
-Squat: 240KG
-Bench: 155KG
-Deadlift: 245KG
Total: 640KG
