Follow our socials to find out more information about your LGBTQ+ Society! Hello and welcome to our page, We are the University of Leicester LGBTQ+ society! We are a social and political group dedicated to championing queer students and providing a fun and safe community where we can celebrate our queerness. We have lots planned for this 26/27 academic year. We are happy to announce that we will be continuing our weekly catchup socials (LGBTea) every Wednesday and have a host of other events planned. Both alcoholic and sober events will be available throughout the year. Additionally, our society organises fundraising events and campaigns for LGBTQ+ rights and awareness. This year we are planning to collaborate with trade and the Leicestershire LGBTQ+ centre along with many others. We want to create good relationships with LGBTQ+ spaces and businesses in Leicester and the surrounding area. Watch this space (and our socials) for more information. We also hope to collaborate with other great societies as there is such a brilliant diversity of opportunity with other student groups.
