Executive and Part-Time Officer Elections 2026
Each year, we elect Executive Officers and Part-Time Officers (PTOs) to help us build a community where all students are empowered to thrive, belong and succeed. This could be to make extenuating circumstances easier, improving services like the library, running community building events, creating new training for staff on how to better support their students, or even running campaigns nationally with other officers across the SU.
Executive and Part-Time Officers - Applications are now closed.
Nominations/applications have now closed, campaigning will begin on Friday 27 February.
What Next?
Applied/nominated yourself for a position? Why not attend one of our candidate support sessions!
These are all listed on our "What's On" page.
You don't need to book to attend any of these sessions, just come along.
We strongly recommend that you attend a drop-in session with the team that you will be working with if successful, to ask more questions about what they do. For example, if you have applied to the Ethnic Equity Part-TIme Officer role, please come along to the Activities Drop-In Session!
Please note: As a candidate, it is mandatory that you attend at least one Candidate Rules Briefing session.
If you're a distance learner and would like to attend a session virtually, please drop us an email at SU-Elections@leicester.ac.uk and we will send across a Microsoft Teams link.
