Join AstRoSoc at our first observatory night of the academic year! Please meet us at Olive Banks in The Village, where we'll have a presentation, quiz and snacks, followed by a short walk over to the observatory! We welcome all students; undergrads, postgrads, whatever the subject, so please don't be shy!
Our observatory contains a 20-inch aperture telescope, which we use to explore the night sky!
You don't need to bring anything with you, but we recommend wearing warm clothes, as it can get cold inside the observatory. Please note that we are at the mercy of the ever-changing British weather, and those white fluffy things in the sky can get in the way of our observing!!
