‼️ Beginner & Advanced Chess Tournament! ‼️

You guys asked for it, so here it is! We're so excited to announce that we're hosting a Beginner & Advanced Chess Tournament!

There will be two divisions - one section for beginners and one section for the experienced players, anybody is welcome to join. If you've just started playing, you can join the beginner section, or if you're more experienced you can play in the advanced section!

The winners of each section will get a cash prize too! 👀

The tournament will take place on Saturday 7th March, from 10am - 4pm. There will be 7 rounds, with a lunch break inbetween.

The tournament is a 15-0 format (15 minutes per person, with no added time after each move)

The entry fee is £5. To sign up, head to our page on the Student's Union website, and purchase your tickets through there

If you've got any questions about the tournament, please feel free to drop any of the committee members a DM ❤️

We hope to see you at our Beginner & Advanced Chess Tournament!
