Ready to hit the slopes? Join us for our give it a go session at Swadlincote Snowsports Centre, with options for complete beginners and those looking to practise and improve their skills.

9:15am
- Beginners Skiing Lesson Only: Ski lesson with an instructor
1:00pm
- Beginners Ski lesson
- Skiers & Snowboarders: Practice session with casual coaching available
🚌 Getting there
We’ll meet outside the O2 on University Road, where we’ll head over to Swadlincote Snowsports Centre together by minibus.
🎿 Equipment
No need to worry about bringing your own kit - all skiing and snowboarding equipment will be provided.
Please make sure you wear:
- A long-sleeved top, hoodie, jumper or jacket
- Trousers, joggers or leggings / shorts and skirts are not permitted
- Gloves
Thicker socks are also recommended (but not essential!).
⛷️ Intermediate group
If you’d like to join the intermediate group, you must be able to perform, at a minimum:
- Skiers: Proficient snowplough turns
- Snowboarders: Proficient falling leaf
