Ever wondered how to create opportunities that don't exist yet? In many career sectors (including law) traditional pathways and internship schemes are hard to come by, and the best doors are sometimes opened by taking the initiative yourself.

Join us for an inspiring talk on the power of cold emailing. Durham Law graduate Zoe Adlam will share her personal experiences of how reaching out directly to employers and organisations has opened doors and created career opportunities she wouldn't have found otherwise.

You'll learn:

What cold emailing is and why it works

How to find and approach the right people

How to write an email that gets a response

How to turn a single email into a real opportunity

Whether you're aiming for the Bar, a training contract, or a career beyond the traditional routes, this workshop will help you take control of your career: don't wait for opportunities, create them!
