AstRoSoc x PCSB Planetary Volcanology Evening

Join us for a talk from planetary geologist Nicola Mari, PhD, in collaboration with PCSB Geology Society! Nicola Mari is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Planetary Geology and Geochemistry at the University of Calabria (Italy), with a wealth of experience in the geosciences. He obtained his PhD in Martian Geochemistry at the University of Glasgow and has subsequently worked alongside NASA, ESA and INAF on various planetary geology projects.

His talk (including Q&A) will last approximately 30 minutes.

After the talk is over, we will watch the Apollo 11 documentary film, which consists of archival footage, including film previously unreleased to the public. The film has won various awards and has been praised highly by a variety of critics and fans.
