We are your small and friendly Advice team,
ready to support you during your time at university
Advice & Support Manager

What is your job?
To provide confidential and impartial advice/signposting for academic and housing issues, employment rights, legal and wellbeing services. This can include face-to-face or teams appointments, or being a companion at formal University meetings.
To support proactive campaigns led by students and the Students' Union.
To constantly look at ways we can improve the Advice Service and how we can best support you.
To empower and champion students throughout their University experience
To support other members of the team to fulfil their roles, including our Student Staff.

What is your job?
To provide confidential and impartial advice/signposting for academic and housing issues, employment rights, legal and wellbeing services. This can include face-to-face or teams appointments, or being a companion at formal University meetings.
To deliver sexual health services on campus such as the C-Card scheme.
To ensure that access to education is fair for all university students and advocating for students rights alongside university departments.
To empower students to stand up for their rights and follow the correct procedures whilst doing so.
To support proactive campaigns led by students and the Students' Union.

What is your job?
Work with University Deparments and the Student Union to create projects and campaigns that support you in your studies, student experience and wellbeing during your time at university
Facilitating wellbeing and support clinics for you to access on campus
Create helpful materials that support you in your studying, housing, physical and mental health.
