The summer months in the United Kingdom comprise of June, July and August with many seasonal foods produced throughout these months. Sustainable recipes are abundant due to the wide range of fruit and vegetables available.


The month of June produces a wonderful array of green vegetables, including Broad Beans, Spring Onions, Peas and Asparagus.


Beans can also be produced right through until July; however many other vegetables are available such as Beetroot, Aubergine as well as many fruits such as cherries and blackcurrants.


The last summer month brings with it Apples, Sweet Peppers, Marrow, Courgette and many more fruit and vegetables.
