Welcome! We aim to bring together and represent University of Leicester students who identify as LGBT+, as well as anyone who wishes to learn about or support the LGBT+ community!
We hold a wide range of events throughout the year:
These include our weekly ‘LGBTea!’ socials, workshops, film screenings, meals and the occasional bar-crawl or night out!
The society also organises fundraising events and hosts campaigns for LGBT+ rights awareness at the university. We have previously won the "Best Event of the Year" award for our annual Love Music Hate Homophobia event, which last year raised over £600.
Most importantly, we're a welfare society at heart so we ensure every member of our committee is friendly, approachable and will be able to point you in the right direction for any advice or information you may need. So get in touch!
