📣 Want to organise an event to build community, meet like-minded peers, develop your event-organising skills, or bring something exciting to campus? Submit your idea here and we’ll help you make it happen!
🥁 If your proposal is accepted, we will arrange a meeting between you and our Student Community Builder to discuss the details further. The Students' Union will provide all the necessary support and resources to help you successfully organise this event. As a volunteer leading your event, you will receive training and guidelines to ensure its success. Additionally, you will be issued a certificate upon completion of the event and a thank-you voucher that you can use for food and drinks on campus. 🤩 Please note that, due to limited staff capacity and resources, not all proposals may be accepted or feasible for us to support. The recommended budget for your event should be between £50 and £200, with a minimum of 10 students expected to attend, although this may vary depending on the actual details. We may also request amendments to your preferences or event details. We will also be collecting feedback and data from event participants for research and analysis to enhance our services and planning, ensuring a better experience for students.
Once you submit the form, one of our staff members from the Activities Team will be in touch with you in 5-7 working days for more information on how we can support the idea.
