I am Damini Sundar. I am doing my Masters in Engineering Management. I would like to nominate myself for the position of Mature and Part time Students Officer.
I was a student representative during my Masters in University of Birmingham and also during my Under Grad in India. I always like to involve myself with students. Iam confident about my interpersonal skills.I am a very friendly person and hence it will be easy to approach me. I am a great listener and I will always be ready to listen to your voice. No matter how small the issues are, I will provide you with the appropriate solution to my best.
If I am chosen I would like to broaden our views on the following.
SUPPORT: I will provide you with any type of support needed during your study in the University. Be it studies or health or safety issues or home sickness or mental support, you are always welcome to have a word with me, and I assure you I will do my best to provide you the support you will be needing.
FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT: Many students are new to the country or city and are not yet familiar with the university or the fellow students. I would like to provide a friendly environment where they can meet new students and get familiarised with this environment.
