Welcome to Student's for Global Health Leicester's first book club!

We will be reading our first novel, Half of a Yellow Sun by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, over Christmas with a virtual discussion planned for the end of January/start of February.

The novel explores a seminal moment in modern African history: Biafra’s impassioned struggle to establish an independent republic in Nigeria in the 1960s, and the chilling violence that followed.
